The world has changed, and so has JW Hinks
24/06/2020The coronavirus pandemic that forced Britain (and much of the world) into lockdown over the last few months has challenged all of us to find new ways of working. As this difficult period begins to draw to a close, we believe that many of the workplace innovations are here to stay – and we have been keen to adapt.
JW Hinks is committed to letting its staff work remotely for as long as necessary. New technological solutions, such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, mean that many of our daily tasks, including some meetings with clients, are now possible online. JW Hinks has also adopted new cleaning and hygiene standards in-line with scientific advice. As a result, now that the country is beginning to ease restrictions, you can rest assured our offices are a safe place to be.
Following on from these adaptations, we are pleased to announce another way in which we’ve changed: a complete rebrand! It’s been a long time coming – our old website was beginning to look its age, and we were keen to remind both prospective and established clients that our 125-years of successful trading is only half the story. JW Hinks is, and always has been, an accountancy practice at the forefront of modern life. To help us bring our brand into line with the business’s underlying values, we enlisted the help of midlands creative agency Kiss Design. We hope you’ll agree – they’ve done a fantastic job!
We engaged with Kiss to drill down to the core values that have helped us to thrive and put us where we are today. We looked at audience demographics, competitors, and service offerings to ensure that we were doing ourselves justice.
This website is the most obvious example of the rebrand in practise. As you can see, everything is sharper, and we’ve swapped out our mellower tones for something more striking. Along with a logo refresh, professional copywriting, and up-to-date graphic- and web-design, the team at Kiss spent significant time rethinking the way information is structured, creating a far more intuitive and streamlined user journey. We’re very happy with the outcome, and our relationship with Kiss will continue, as they will be handline our marketing and social media for the foreseeable future.
In the last few months, we have embraced new ways of working, and redesigned the way we interact with our clients. And, as you will have no doubt seen on this blog, senior staff have welcomed three new colleagues, and bid a fond farewell to a fourth. We want to assure you that, no matter what challenges face the public, and no matter what our website looks like, you can count on one thing staying the same: the quality of the accountancy and business consultancy services we offer to our clients.
